An Inward Work for His Purpose, J.F. I am so full of appreciation for the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA), a place where I have daily experienced the dispensing of God into me (1 Corinthians 15:45b; Romans 8:6, 10,11), and a place where I have learned to allow His divine life within me to grow in a proper and normal way (1 Corinthians 3:7). The FTTA has done a foundational work in my being necessary for my further pursuit of the Lord. Through hearing the truths of the Bible in class each morning, and through my daily experiences of Christ, I have, to some extent, seen that Christ is everything to me. I have realized that Christ wants to work Himself into me so that eventually there would be more of Christ expressed and less of self, until I express just Christ (Galatians 2:20; Ephesians 3:17). There is a confirmation within me that says, Yes, I desire that Christ be lived out through me (Philippians 1:21). There is so much that I have gained in the FTTA that words cannot express it. I will mention two practices that relate very much to my spiritual growth in the Lord. These critical practices have become my daily habit, and have been instilled in me as being necessary for my going on spiritually. One of them is morning revival, a time spent with the Lord in His Word. This time is not only for myself, but most importantly for the Lord. My time in morning revival is directly related to the imparting of God's element into me (2 Timothy 3:16) for His expression (John 6:57). The FTT has helped me to develop this necessary practice. I have also come to appreciate the truths in the Bible. These two years in the FTT have caused me to get into the Word as well as the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. Since experience always seems to follow revelation, I have seen my need to get into the truth. I have received revelations of who Christ is and what He has accomplished. The more biblical truth I receive, the more I have been led by the Lord within to pray over them that they would become my experience... to realize who and what the Lord is. I am so glad these truths are not just objective doctrines, but I can apply them in a subjective and experiential way. These truths have been a source of supply and healing for me. Most importantly, however, getting into these truths has caused me to know the Lord inwardly and intimately, and has caused me to be full of appreciation towards Him. Thank the Lord for this training, a place to eat and drink the Lord (John 6:35; 7:37). The FTT has practically enhanced my pursuit of the Lord. The FTT has provided a way for the Lord to do an inward work in me. Main | History | Testimonies | Links Copyright © 2002. Christian Websites. All Rights Reserved |
